What is a day like at Gentle Path?

Gentle Paths sits on a 35-acre plot in Wickenburg, isolating guests from the outside world. The rehab center is located on the edge of the Sonoran Desert making the experience humbling for residents who may not be used the isolation provided by the western ranch community.

Residents are assured of a quiet, private stay thanks to the center’s location and it is this privacy that helps with the recovery process and eliminates sexual triggers. Upon arrival to the center, guests must surrender their electronic devices to prevent triggers that could prove counter-intuitive to the treatment process.

Guests live in dorm room-style shared accommodation although residents can upgrade to private rooms depending on their situation. Gentle Path Rehab can welcome up to 28 male guests at one time. Privacy is one of the center’s biggest aims for each client it works with and ensures group therapies are kept to low numbers. While guests live in shared accommodation, the remainder of the rehab center offers an upscale experience with plush communal areas.

A physical and psychological examination is completed upon arrival to enable staff to treat clients fully. The recovery treatment program lasts 45 days and is completed in six parts. Treatment programs include therapies such as EMDR, CBT, experiential therapy and expressive arts therapy. The Meadows Model is also used which delves into the clients’ actions enabling them to gain healthy tools to combat their sex addiction.

The minimum stay at Gentle Path is 45 days and offers guests the chance to break the chains of sex addiction. Residents can take advantage of the highly trained chef staff for meals, the workout facilities, yoga and tai chi classes, and much more. The price of Gentle Path’s sex addiction treatment can range between $37,000 and $58,000 depending on a client’s stay.
