The Dawn Rehab in Thailand

The Dawn Rehab in Thailand

Thailand is often a destination for travelers seeking fun, excitement, and a good time. The country’s beaches and lively nightlife attract over 30 million people a year with the numbers typically growing year-on-year.

While many visitors go for the decadence and debauchery of Thailand, a growing number of people are traveling to the Asian nation to get clean and sober. Thailand is a country now famous for its medical work and rehab resorts like the Dawn.

The Dawn is one of Thailand’s premier luxury rehabs, situated in the charming city of Chiang Mai, the Dawn provides guests comprehensive and holistic treatments in one of the most beautiful settings in Asia. The facility is staffed with English-speaking care workers and provides treatment for people suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and co-occurring disorders.

The Dawn is a world away from the chaos of Bangkok and is a country residence set among lush greenery. The resort-like center gives residents the chance to overcome their addiction and mental health disorders in a tranquil environment, and it’s country location reduces the visual and audio triggers individuals experience throughout their days in active addiction.

Thailand’s treatment centers are popular among western clientele due to the luxury environment they offer and the high standard of care provided. Residents have sought out the Dawn for its great price as it is a fraction of the cost of leading rehab facilities in the United States although The Dawn rehab center isn’t just a well-priced option for individuals seeking recovery, its beautiful locale and world-class treatment give residents an optimal chance to heal and break the cycle of addiction forever.

The Dawn gives each guest a private room with a king-sized bed, en suite bathroom featuring a large bathtub, and flat screen TV. Rooms come equipped with Wi-Fi and balconies allowing each resident to relax in the tropical paradise of Chiang Mai.

The Dawn Rehab Cost

Founded in 2016, the Dawn is still a relatively new rehab center and continues to grow. A month-long stay at the Dawn is a mere $12,000 which is a fraction of the price for luxury rehab centers in the United States. The world-class staff and gorgeous resort-like surroundings make it a perfect choice for residents seeking expert recovery at a great price.

Treatment Style at The Dawn Rehab

The Dawn rehab in Chiang Mai subscribes to a “Twin Pillar” approach which uses both holistic and eastern traditional treatments. Group therapy and AA/NA meetings are also available to residents at the Dawn.

A stay at the Dawn starts with an assessment upon admission and an individual treatment plan, and the duration of treatment can range from one to three months, depending on the client. Those in need of detoxification will be treated until they are physically stable, under medical supervision. Dual Diagnosis is available for people with co-occurring mental health disorders.

Clients spend the day in CBT with their assigned counselors and take part in group therapy twice a day. AA and NA meetings are available on site on weekdays and group meetings on Saturdays and Sundays.

At the end of the treatment there is a shift to relapse prevention, and guided meditation is part of the daily routine. If you live locally and decide to stay in Thailand, an outpatient program is recommended, which includes on-site group and one-on-one sessions where clients can participate via Zoom. The Dawn also offers a wide range of services, such as ongoing psychoeducation, training and vocational training.

The Dawn employs a full-time staff of 30 to 40, mostly from the US and Australia. The majority of the team has been trained abroad and has completed its training at institutions in Europe, the USA, Australia and beyond.
