The Cabin Thailand

The Cabin Chiang Mai is one of the premier rehab centers in Asia. Situated in Northern Thailand, the Chiang Mai area is a prime tourist region attracting millions each year. Opened in 2009, the Cabin has built a strong reputation for its dedication to care and earned the nickname, “The Betty Ford Clinic of Asia”.

The rehab center resembles a gorgeous, lush resort rather than the typical recovery center many guests experience. The luxury residential rehab center cares for both male and female clients seeking solace from drug and alcohol abuse. Individuals suffering from co-occurring mental health illnesses such as trauma and depression can also find help.

Since its launch, the Cabin rehab in Thailand has treated thousands of clients using its multifaceted recovery methods and offers programs utilizing 12-step recovery, evidence-based therapy, holistic medicine, nutrition, CBT, and experiential therapy. The Cabin’s approach to healing is well-rounded and gives individuals comprehensive recovery. Thailand has become one of the most sought-after locations for individuals seeking to end their addictions to drugs and alcohol.

Thanks to the country’s beautiful weather, gorgeous beaches and natural setting, and resort-like rehab facilities, individuals are flocking to the Asian country to find help. Making Thailand even more desirable is that the cost of treatment is less than in many of the highly rated rehab facilities in the United States. Client care and privacy also make Thailand the ideal setting to get clean and sober.

Individuals can find more than just drug and alcohol recovery programs at the Cabin. The center provides Internet addiction therapy, sex addiction recovery, and prescription drug rehab. Online counseling is available from the one of a kind rehab facility as well.

The Cabin Rehab Cost

The Cabin offers a 28-day treatment program based on the needs of the individual. Each recovery program is designed around the individual completing it. What is a day like at the Cabin Thailand?

Compared to many luxury rehab centers around the world, the Cabin focuses on a structured daily routine to get clients focused on the getting better. A structured schedule means there is little down time for clients to trigger their addictions.

Clients must undergo an intake evaluation upon arrival. The comprehensive evaluation enables the medical team to design the best recovery plan available for the individual. The Cabin understands that not all clients are the same, therefore, the recovery plan must be tailored to fit each resident.

The Cabin uses a model known as the “3 Circles”. The model combines CBT with a modified version of the 12-steps program. The Cabin’s version of 12-steps is considered both secular and rational for the average person’s needs. Clients will find meditation and fitness programs as a part of everyday life.

Residents will complete group therapy twice a day in addition to a special process group meeting each night. One-on-one therapy is also a part of the routine at the Cabin and residents will meet twice a week with their counselor.

The Cabin Thailand Treatment

The Cabin uses the “3 Circles” methodology that combines CBT and a modified version of the 12-steps treatment plan. Mindfulness, meditation and therapeutic fitness also play a central role and can be treated within the individual treatment plan of each resident. The cabin consultants are trained and accredited in the UK and Australia and deal with a wide range of medical and mental health issues including depression, anxiety, depression and anxiety disorders.

The daily routine is very structured and clients usually complete the first three steps of 12 Step Recovery before leaving treatment. Group therapy meets twice a week, with therapy taking place once a week, and the theme of each group session is a specific mental health issue such as depression and anxiety. There are also a number of written tasks and assignments that clients must complete during the group sessions.

The Cabin Chiang Mai employs a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists and specialists in drug management. As already mentioned, drug management is a central component of the treatment of patients who need dual diagnosis support.

Interestingly, The Cabin Thailand offers a proportionate refund to anyone who wants to stop treatment after the first week and leave for other rehabs in Northern Thailand such as The Dawn.

The Cabin Facilities

Guests will find multiple swimming pools, a fitness center, work area and library, and juice bar on-site at the Cabin. There is always something to do when residents are not in group or individual therapy, meaning the opportunity for triggers are limited.
