What is a day like at Sunrise Recovery Ranch?

You will be active and engaged each day during a stay at Sunrise Recovery Ranch. There is little down time during and every day is highly structured. The use of time to work with clients means you are active and focused on healing. A day at Sunrise Recovery Ranch will be spent participating in positive recovery-orientated activities. These activities include physical tasks will include exercise amongst other events.

Workshops, therapy sessions, and support group meetings are also conducted throughout the day. These strengthen your ability to end alcohol and/or drug abuse. You will likely need to work through a variety of underlying issues to get fully sober.

Sunrise Recovery Ranch’s staff is educated to help residents confront issues such as anger, fear, anxiety, embarrassment, and pain. These issues often cause individuals to relapse into drug and alcohol abuse. By working through these underlying issues, Sunrise Recovery Ranch’s staff arms you with the tools to prevent relapses.

You will be treated with both co-ed and gender-specific therapies. Men and women face different issues that cause addiction. By providing a customized, gender-specific treatment plan, you are given the chance to heal the necessary areas to live a fully productive life.

Your treatment plan could feature one-to-one therapy, DBT, Experiential Therapy, Eye Movement Therapy, Art Therapy, Group Therapy, Meditation and Mindfulness, and yoga practice. Detox is also available.

Sunrise Recovery Rance works with resident experiencing a range of addiction issues. You can receive treatment for issues from alcohol addiction to street drug use to prescription medication addiction. Bedrooms are shared with single beds provided to residents. You will spend much of your time completing therapy sessions and outdoor activities. The sharing of accommodation teaches clients to adapt and live free of drugs and alcohol while working with others. A dining room is provided where you will eat your meals.
