Typical Day at Opus Health

You will have a set daily routine at Opus Health. This allows you to focus on the recovery process and not to experience any unexpected changes to your schedule. Having a set schedule allows residents to be focused throughout their stay. One of the tasks you will complete at Opus Health is goal setting. The rehab believes that clients should set small, realistic goals that are achievable. Along with setting achievable goals, residents will work on time management.

The day begins at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast. You will then participate in meditation and mindfulness exercises. Therapy and process group sessions begin at 9:15 a.m. and last until lunch at noon. In the afternoon, you will experience health and wellness sessions and one-to-one therapy. Dinner takes place at 5:00 p.m. and is followed by a recovery meeting. A daily reflection session takes place at 8:00 p.m. You will have 90 minutes of free time before lights out at 10:30 p.m. By having the entire day planned out, it prevents you from straying from the recovery path.

You may undergo medical detox upon arrival at Opus Health. After finishing detox, you will graduate to the treatment program. A full spectrum of care is offered using evidence-based treatments. You will be provided medication-assisted treatment (MAT), regular doctor visits, psychological and psychiatric care, and support from the Opus Health staff. You will undergo 12-Step programming, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, eye movement therapy (EMDR), and meditation and mindfulness. Family therapy is also a part of the Opus Health care program.
