This estate is located 30 miles north of the Phoenix airport and offers space for men in this gorgeous location. Soberman’s Estate is wholly focused on comfort and healing with beautiful accommodations and clinical excellence.  With three to five hours of one-on-one therapy per week and access to devices such as cell phones and laptops, this rehab puts the focus on the client first.

Residential Amenities at Sobermans Estate

Sobermans Estate offers a hotel-like experience with high-quality accommodations. Guests will enjoy queen-size beds in private rooms or two bedrooms.  The property includes a zen massage room, a pool with a relaxing rock waterfall, beautiful gardens, and a putting green.  There is also a grotto, fire pit, and walking labyrinth.  The grounds also feature a stable arena for equine-assisted modality, which clients can use as part of their personalized treatment program.

As a part of the healing process, the dining experience focuses on the treatment at Soberman’s Estate. In addition, the Executive Chef teaches nutrition and cooking classes to help prepare clients with skills and knowledge to continue eating healthy. Examples of past courses include knife skills, pasta from scratch, nutrition, how to make granola, Sunday brunch recipes, etc.

Meals are provided and cooked in a farm-to-table style with fresh fruits and vegetables from the Sobermans Estate Greenhouse and eggs from the Sobermans Estate chickens. Specials from the in-house menu include Baked Oatmeal Bites, Huevos Rancheros, Homemade Rancheros, and Salmon Salad.

Typical Day at Sobermans Estate

Guest start the day with a healthy breakfast prepared by the chef at 7:00 am and begin with morning movement with either yoga or a walk around the labyrinth.  At 8:30 am, the Sunrise Meeting will take place, where everyone will set goals and intentions for the day.  Process Group or Equine Experience starts at 9:00 am, with Process Group led by a masters-level clinician focusing on underlying core issues.

Lunch happens at noon, with individual sessions at 1:30 pm with clinicians, nutritionists, and/or physicians. The unique part about Soberman’s Estate is that they allow for phone and computer time, supervised by staff.  At 2:30 pm, guests are permitted to access devices, and at 3:30 pm, it’s time for a Psycho-educational group or Acupuncture, with dinner after 5:00 pm. The day winds down with a 12 step meeting or guest speaker at 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm evening snack and independent study with lights out at 10 pm.

ART (accelerated resolution therapy) helps treat trauma quickly, while neurofeedback and comprehensive evaluations help Sobermans Estate give the most relevant care possible. Sobermans Estate is located in a peaceful area to help people recover. They have rooms that are private or shared, and the food is carefully prepared by a chef using fresh ingredients.
