Helen Parson Williams is an accomplished and well regarded Author in both Medicine and Historical affairs. Helen is a Senior Lecturer in the United Kingdom and holds a BA, MA and PhD.
Helen has multiple publications to her name and is lead associate in the Writing Doctors research project run by the Leverhulme Trust. Its aim is to examine the implications for British medicine in the language of medical publication from Latin to English, a change that impacted on gender roles in relation to the medical world and the nature of publishing across a wide spectrum.
Recently married, Helen still writes professionally under her maiden name and spends her free time traveling and researching addiction affairs and substance use programs in Asia.
