AToN Center is a holistic, luxurious treatment facility specializing in individualized treatment and co-occurring mental health disorders. AToN is located on a private ten-acre sanctuary, surrounded by trees and waterfalls, and comprises five estates.

Situated in San Diego, California, the AToN Center is a residential rehab facility that enables individuals to achieve a life without addiction. The rehab offers a variety of services from behavioral disorder treatment to dual diagnosis treatment to detox services. AToN center provides a 30-day recovery program based around its very own curriculum. Although the typical recovery program length is 30 days, AToN Center also offers clients the chance to spend more time at the facility. The length of stay can alter based on the treatment provided. Treatment is based on a client’s needs rather than dictated to each guest.

AToN Center emphasizes individualized treatment and caters to each guest upon arrival. The five-star rehab provides daily individual sessions with a full-time clinician. This gives each client the chance to engage with a single member of staff allowing them to address individual needs. Guests are also more likely to open up to a clinician they are comfortable with.

You will find six licensed physiologists on staff at AToN Center. There are also two licensed marriage and family therapists available to clients. AToN Center’s experienced staff includes drug and alcohol counselors to address addiction issues. The center is made up of a well-round group of therapists that can help a client’s recovery from addiction and other issues.

The rehab is comprised of five houses that sit over a 10-acre campus. Each house can accommodate up to six guests at one time. Clients will find world-class amenities for each house akin to a five-star resort. When clients are not relaxing and improving their mental health, they attend therapy sessions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, holistic therapies, and your choice of non-12 Step, SMART Recovery, or 12-Step meetings. There are also activities to promote motivation, to manage emotions, and build healthy relationships with others.

AToN Center is a family-owned and operated rehab facility. The San Diego rehab was founded Jim and Patricia Brady. The couple sought to bring together the best clinicians and management team to build the ultimate facility in quality rehab care. Jim Brady’s desire to create the best rehab facility possible was produced by tragedy. He lost his brother to addiction which inspired him to help as many people as possible.

What is a day like at AToN Center?

AToN Center’s extensive staff of therapists are onsite each day. Other rehab facilities may only have therapists available to clients once a week or through an appointment outside of sessions. There are 13 full-time clinical staff at AToN Center to oversee a maximum of 25 residents. Each client will attend one individual clinical session and three small group sessions on a daily basis.

The rehab uses its very own curriculum designed from evidence-based research. Each client’s journey from beginning to end is just as different as their addictions. AToN Center helps you plan your life post-rehab from day one. This gives you something to look forward and aspire to. As part of the healing process, AToN Center wants to work hand-in-hand with residents to meet their goals. Thanks to the beauty and serenity of San Diego, many individual sessions are held outside allowing you to soak up the healing power of nature.

Upon graduation from AToN, the center continues your path to recovery. A weekly aftercare group is available to graduates of the program. Aftercare group takes place every Saturday from 10:30 to 12:00 PST. There are quarterly alumni events that include picnics and beach days. Graduates also receive a phone call, text message, or email from a staff member whenever desired to ensure they remain on the path to sobriety.

AToN Accommodation

The five-star AToN Center is set out over a sprawling 10-acre sanctuary in San Diego. There are five residential homes on the estate which house six guests at a time.  Guests have a safe place to spend their downtime during a stay and the ability to unwind. There are freshwater and saltwater swimming pools onsite allowing you to exercise and spend time in the warm San Diego sun soaking up Vitamin D.

AToN Center ensures that each resident feels at home during their 30-day stay. Outside each house, guests will find lush green gardens and the sounds of local wildlife. There are even waterfalls and koi ponds to explore. Your diet will be well looked after by AToN Center’s onsite chefs. Healthy meals are served up daily using fresh produce.

AToN Center goes to great lengths to ensure that you have a comfortable stay. Each home can have a maximum of six residents for each two-acre home. They offer private and shared rooms. All shared rooms have queen-sized beds and plenty of space to feel comfortable. AToN Center is composed of 5 homes making this a beautiful 10-acre garden campus.

Rehab is a sensitive time and you can rest assured that your privacy will be kept. Staff members take your confidentiality seriously. The property is located within a gated community on a private street. Staff take continuing education courses annually on confidentiality to adhere to the center’s stringent measures. The professionals at AToN Center understand the sensitive nature of seeking treatment, and every resident’s confidentiality is of the utmost importance to every staff member. AToN properties are gated on and on a private street. All staff takes annual confidentiality courses, and we follow HIPAA and state guidelines regarding privacy.

AToN Center Treatment

Residents at AToN Center receive the highest level of care. The rehab’s curriculum and groups use a variety of approaches, including DBT, CBT, ACT, and more, to build skills for your journey back to full health. The center focuses on treating the mind, body, and soul. Along with its core curriculum, you will find 12-Step and non-12 Step alternatives such as SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery, and more. The World Class team at AToN understands that many people have trauma underlying their substance use disorder and have five full-time EMDR therapists.

Along with an evidence-based curriculum and daily 1-on-1 sessions with an AToN Therapist, residents enjoy four individual holistic sessions per week, including massage, acupuncture, personal training, yoga, hypnotherapy, and physical therapy. AToN Center places great emphasis on individualized treatment and are one of the only centers in the United States to offer daily individual sessions with a full-time AToN Center clinician.

AToN Cost

The daily rate for AToN Center’s incredible therapies and accommodation is $2,000 a day. It also accepts most PPO insurances and is in-network with Anthem.
